Fibroscan Information

Slaidburn Country Practice are working with ELHT to offer Fibroscans to eligible patients at Clitheroe Health Centre, if have been identified as being eligible you will be sent an invitation to attend. Fibroscans are quick and painless tests used to assess your liver for any scarring or stiffness. The results are provided at the appointment.

Please do not eat for three hours before your appointment to ensure an accurate result. You can have clear fluids and take any tablets as required. Please note that we have a limited number of appointments and these will be on a first come first served basis.
